Lithium is a suite of network, server and storage monitoring applications with support for industry standard SNMP and proprietary monitoring protocols including those used by Apple’s Xserve, Xsan and Xserve RAID devices.

Lithium 5.0 has built-in support for in-depth monitoring of the Promise VTrak storage devices.

When adding a device running Mac OS X Server or Client, you can now choose to monitor the device using Apple’s Server Manager protocol or SNMP.

You can now specify separate Lights-Out Management and Monitoring IP address and credentials when monitoring Intel Xserves.

Monitoring of Xsan 2 Controllers and Clients is now supported and built-in to all Xserve and Mac OS X monitoring modules.
