Lithium is a suite of network, server and storage monitoring applications with support for industry standard SNMP and proprietary monitoring protocols including those used by Apple’s Xserve, Xsan and Xserve RAID devices.

Lithium Core 5.0 and Lithium Touch have integrated support for delivering Incident notifications to your iPhone using Apple’s Push Notification Service.

The use of Push Notifications can be enabled or disabled for each Lithium Core Customer. Individual hand-sets can select whether to receive notifications and display a text and/or audible notice of the incoming alert.

The Incident count shown on the Lithium Touch application badge is also updated dynamically using Push Notifications.
