Entering a search string in to the Search box at the bottom right of the Lithium Console window will display results for any occurrence of the search string in monitored entities. For example, entering the search string ‘Mail’ will display any Device, Container, Object, Metric or Trigger that has the string ‘Mail’ in the entity, or parent entities name and description. Additionally the current values of all monitoring metrics will also be examined and the search results will include any Metric with a value containing the search string.
Clicking on a search result shows detailed information in the Inspector Panel, allowing the user to interrogate the search results without leaving the search view.
