Lithium is a suite of network, server and storage monitoring applications with support for industry standard SNMP and proprietary monitoring protocols including those used by Apple’s Xserve, Xsan and Xserve RAID devices.

Previously you had to choose to view the Lithium Entity Tree (left-hand-side of the main window in Console) in a Single-Customer or Multi-Customer view. The Multi-Customer view allowed you to see monitoring data from multiple Lithium Core deployments in one tree but lacked the separation of Devices, Services, Xsan, etc.

The new Consolidated Entity Tree in Console 5.0 supports a single-layout for single and multi-customer use with the Devices, Faults, Xsan and Services categories breakdown spanning all deployments that Console is connected to.
