Lithium is a suite of network, server and storage monitoring applications with support for industry standard SNMP and proprietary monitoring protocols including those used by Apple’s Xserve, Xsan and Xserve RAID devices.

The Xserve, Mac OS X Server and Mac OS X Client monitoring modules in Lithium 5.0 have been updated to extend monitoring support for Xsan 2 Controllers and Clients. The support for Xsan monitoring is automatically enabled for devices with Xsan installed being monitored using the Server Manager protocol.
