Process Monitoring

The Process Monitoring feature in Lithium 5.0 allows you to monitor the list of processes running on any given host. You can define Profiles to monitor the process count, CPU and memory usage for any group of processes by name.

State Scene and Virtual Rack documents are now stored server-side in Lithium Core.

The Groups feature in Lithium Console allows you to create groups and sub-groups to arrange you monitoring data however you want.

Incident Email Alerts generated by Lithium’s Action System now include more information and a URL to access the relevant monitoring data through Console.

Incidents are now reported as New, Recurring, Transitioned and Cleared. The volume of Email Alerts generated by Lithium has been significantly reduced in favor of more signal in the signal-to-noise ratio.

The ‘+’ button in the bottom left of Lithium Console is for adding new Locations, Devices, Actions and Services.

Lithium Core Admin.app now has a self-update feature that checks to see if an updated version of Lithium Core is available. Core Admin can then download and install the update at the users command.

Lithium now has a URL schema to provide quick access to monitoring data from external sources.

Devices that are discovered using Bonjour (local network) or the Network Scanner feature can be added to a Site / Location to be monitored by dragging and dropping the Device onto the Location.

You can now move a Device from one site to another using drag-and-drop in Console 5.0.

The Search function in Console has been improved with the inclusion of the Inspector Panel to show in-depth information on search results.

The SNMP MIBs presented by the device can be searched using the ‘Search’ field in the top-right of the Module Builder window.

The Entity Tree in Console is now the same whether you run a single or multiple installs of Lithium Core.
