Lithium is a suite of network, server and storage monitoring applications with support for industry standard SNMP and proprietary monitoring protocols including those used by Apple’s Xserve, Xsan and Xserve RAID devices.

Lithium is licensed on the number of monitored devices per customer. A typical end-user deployment of Lithium for your business or educational organization will consist of a single deployment of Lithium Core with one Customer configured. The license you require depends on the number of devices you want to monitor. For ultimate flexibility and value for money, the Lithium Unlimited license is a one-off license fee with no maximum restriction of monitored devices.

LithiumCorp offers three levels of support for your Lithium deployment. Our entry level offering, Guaranteed Support provides version protection by including all bug fix, minor and major software updates and a guaranteed 24-hour response time on support queries.

Taking support to the next level, we have the Monitored and Managed Support offerings that provide remote monitoring and management of your Lithium Core deployment. Our staff will monitor the operation of the host device and Lithium Core itself. The Managed Support offering includes remote resolution of faults and installation of all software updates.

Customers with a valid Lithium 4.9 license can upgrade to Lithium 5.0 by purchasing the corresponding Lithium 5.0 upgrade license. The upgrade license type required will depend on the type of Lithium 4.9 license that you currently hold. For example, if you have a Lithium 4.9 50-Device license then you need the 'Upgrade from Lithium-50 4.9 to 5.0' license to upgrade to Lithium 5.0.

Our staff can perform the installation, setup or upgrade of your Lithium Core deployment for you. All work is performed remotely using SSH and Apple Remote Desktop and at a time that is convenient to you.

Hosted Monitoring with Lithium

Lithium was designed from the ground up to be used in multi-customer scenarios where each Customer has a paritioned store of monitoring data for their devices with their own customer-specific access to Lithium Web and Lithium Console. Consultants and Managed Service Providers can use Lithium as the foundation to deliver a hosted service for remote monitoring of network, server and storage infrastructure.

The Lithium ACN license is designed for independent consultants who want to offer their customers a hosted monitoring solution at a cost-effective price. Knowing more about your customers network, server and storage infrastructure will help you build a stronger relationship with them and in turn drive sales and customer satisfaction. With a single Lithium Core deployment you can monitor up to five (5) or ten (10) customers with up to five (5) monitored devices per customer.

For larger consulting firms, integrators and service providers we offer the Lithium MSP licenses. With a Lithium MSP deployment you pay a once-off fee for the master license and then a per-customer license fee based on the number of devices that are to be monitored for that customer.
